SoulKids® children have
a lot of fun whilst learning some truly valuable life lessons.
Over the course of a
SoulKids® Self-Confidence program, children will learn leadership skills,
confidence, discipline and become aware of their unlimited potential.
The children learn
through games, exercises, story telling as well as adopting different roles
during experiential training.
One of the stories that
the children love is the story of the dancing peacock. As a girl is forced to take shelter under a
tree whilst it is raining, she feels grumpy that she can’t continue her walk
through the forest. Whilst she is
sheltering from the rain she sees an amazing sight – a beautiful peacock
dancing in the forest whilst the heavy rain is pouring down on him.
The lesson that the
children learn from the story is that you should always bring out the best of
yourself and share it with life, no matter what else is going on. A lesson for children and adults too!
