SoulKids® what can we learn from Chinese New Year?

Chinese New Year has arrived and Celebrations are well under way, so SoulKids® what can we learn from these fabulous festivities?

• At SoulKids® we love RED. We see lots of red during Chinese New Year because it is thought to be a lucky colour and brings lots of positive energy to the world.

• Chinese New Year is a time for being with your family. So give your family lots of extra SoulKids® HUGS!! 

• Children receive lucky red packets called ‘Hong Bao’ inside they will find sweets or money. Often we forget how much fun it is to give! Giving and receiving material gifts or gifts of wisdom makes everyone feel happy and positive. So lets continue to give as we go through the year – even a smile and a thank-you is a form of giving. So try it each and every day.

• There are spectacular Dragon Dances and Lion Dances during Chinese New Year. SoulKids® these dances only work if the dancers work as a TEAM!
