Sally has been busy once again doing some
amazing interviews with SoulKids graduates.
SoulKids reaches out to children the world
over, many nationalities have benefitted from the program and today Sally
interviews Sofia Salmenhaara’s from Finland!!
Sofia how old are you
now?
I am 11 years old.
When did you attend
SoulKids?
A few years ago.
What did you like
about SoulKids?
I loved SoulKids because I could meet new
people and I loved the activities.
Do you have a
favourite story and why?
The Sunflower and the Rose, The Fear Giant,
and The Mind is like a Parachute, and there are many more that I like.
What is the most
important life lesson you think people need to learn in today’s world?
I think people should be more aware of
things like nature, and embrace each other’s company.
If you could change
the world in any way at all – what would you do?
I would throw in some more trees, colour
and virtues.
Have you thought
about your life purpose?
My life purpose is to be content, travel,
and enjoy life as it is.
I think I am here on earth because every
soul should be blessed with the gift of life.
I have come with the gift of art.
Writing, visual arts, music, and martial
arts (I don’t know if that counts.)
My mission in life is to learn and be
happy.
Do you think you will
achieve this once you become an adult?
Yes, because if I really want something, I
will just set my mind to it.
What 3 main lessons
would you teach to children just starting to learn at school?
Art, music and PE.
Anything else you want
to tell us?
Thank you for being such an important part
of my life.
Thanks Sofia – we are
so happy you are a part of SoulKids and we know that together we will all make
the world a happier place!
