Here Danny tells us why he loves being a SoulKids®
Mentor and how his Mentor training has had such an impact on his own life that
he is very keen to share his new knowledge and wisdom with others.
Why am I taking SoulKids®
to Indonesia?
The
answer is simple: I love kids! I’ve always loved kids! I just didn’t know how
to handle them or communicate with them effectively until I became a SoulKids® Mentor. It used to frustrate me or I became impatient when I was
around my little sister and nieces because I simply didn’t understand them at
their level. Now since becoming a
SoulKids® Mentor, I have more patience and it’s so much
fun with them, and in fact, with any kids I meet. My step-mom has asked my
brother and sister (who both have kids of their own), “The kids all run to
Danny. Why do all the kids love him so much?”
I
have 1 significantly younger sister (who’s 21 years younger than I am and tells
everyone I’m her favorite brother out of the 3), 2 nieces (both, 3 years young)
and now, a very recent addition to the family, a nephew. So again, why did I
take SoulKids® to Indonesia? My answer is,
if you love kids, WHY NOT?
