International and Inspirational

I wanted to congratulate the latest SoulKids Mentors who started their training last weekend.

We have a fantastic team of motivated individuals who are all keen to first learn more about themselves and their own lives/ motivations/ desires/ loves /beliefs / conditionings / fears/ limitations ....
and then to move on ... grow ..... and ultimately to " walk the talk" by supporting SoulKids and children everywhere to be the best they can be!

We are a truly international group with participants from the following countries:
Singapore, England,Holland,India,Switzerland, France, Japan, Malaysia,Canada,Norway,and the Philippines!

We welcome everyone with love and gratitude into the team ...and already we are all leaning " WE are SPECIAL " just the way we are !

Thankyou for the FUN , ENERGY and PASSION shown during the training!

SoulKids are talented individuals!!

Look at this beautiful painting " Indian Beauty " by ARJUN - one of our SoulKids - aged 11.
He is so talented and we are all SO ..SO.. SO.. PROUD of him and his ability.

When asked where his inspiration came from this is what he wrote...

I draw my inspiration from the world I live in and the world that I observe. There are many inspiring things in daily life like the landscape, people, nature, flowers & animals. I am also observing how people look, think and interact with their environment.
For this painting, my inspiration came from the Indian-Himalayan countryside where cows graze happily and mountains stand tall, where frogs do wonderful acrobatics and children skip along. In this picture two women have come to the riverside to bring water home to their families. A flock of swans migrate from wintry lands in search of warmer places.
This painting reminds me that we human beings are but only one of the many species on this planet earth. And if we live harmony with nature then we have a spiritual experience and we live in balance and happiness.

Our Mentors are Special too !!

Sometimes in life we just think about what can we GET from life...here are wonderful examples of people who focus on what they want to GIVE ...and then as a result get so much !!

In SoulKids, we believe you are never too old to grow and learn and that you can learn from everyone and anyone !
The children on SoulKids teach us many amazing things and we are so grateful to be a part of it !

From Sharon.."SoulKids has been a great experience for me. I was able to teach the children life skills and to reach out to more children.

Step Out of your comfort Zone

During SoulKids , the children are given the opportunity to grow by doing things they do not normally do....they relish the experience to "Step outside their comfort Zone"

Maybe we should do a class for ADULTS...how many of us try new things daily? Or do we stick to the safe/known/routines of life.....

My daughter is more open, attentive and listen and also speaks more confidently. It's amazing. For within a day she is able to shift her beliefs and confidence level. She enjoys every moment and is looking forward for the second day as it's learning through fun way - Mary, mother of Eunice Tan, 9
