SoulKids® Children Learn the Power of Self-Belief!

The aim of the SoulKids® programs is to create positive, balanced, self-assured and confident children. The feedback that we get from the children who have attended supports this:-

I enjoyed the SoulKids program because I learnt new things such as facing my fears and how to have a big heart!  Thank you!
                                                                        Kahill, 11

I enjoyed all the stories and games in SoulKids.  They made me think.                                                                       Ian, 6

One of the stories that the children learn is around the training of an elephant.  The children learn that elephants are trained when they are young to stop them from escaping.   However after many years of training eventually the adult elephant no longer believes that it can escape, so it doesn’t try.

The children learn that whatever you believe becomes your reality, like the elephant believing that it can’t escape, even though it could if it tried.

They learn that a belief is nothing but a thought that you think is true.  The children take away the lesson that if you think you can do something then you can, if you think you can’t do something then you can’t.  This is a valuable lesson for them to learn at a young age.

SoulKids® Self-Confidence Program Teaches Children About the Value of Self-Worth!

SoulKids® is unique in that it teaches life-skills necessary for happiness and success. SoulKids® is successful in supplementing the traditional academic training that children receive in school. It trains children in the essential aspects of life that school does not cover.

The entire SoulKids® program is geared towards raising the children’s level of self-esteem and strengthening their self-belief. All of this is achieved through the use of stories, games, role-play and teamwork that actively engage children in learning.

One of the most simple but effective stories is about the value of a $100 dollar bill. No matter what happens to the note, be it crumpled up, halved, thrown on the floor or shouted at, the value of the $100 dollar bill remains exactly the same.

The valuable lesson that the children quickly learn from this simple story is that their true value is what they think and feel about themselves and not what others say about them.
